you got a bad file or a bad pk3, it isn't loading the proper files something is missing and it's freaking out.

Ok you did mean it is NOT freezing at the white screen? From waht I know, it could be several things. A corrupt file on your Jk2 Dir, not just your base dir. Your game may be corrupt and will have to reinstall(if you do backup your files!!!). Another reason could be you have a program running taht conflicts with the game. It may not be visible on your desktop but it will be in your Task Manger(Ctrl + Alt + Del). And another thing it could be(I get this all the time from using so many ram eating design programs and realjukbox that it will lock up my PC. I will get a not enough free memory warning. I can close some progs, but I will eventually have to reboot so I do that instead.) If after rebooting the problem is not fixed. try reinstalling. Back up your maps, skins, jk2mpcofig.cfg(make sure to back this up or you'll have to re bind everything). Back up your important stuff, your Kill tracker in the Game Data Folder along with its tracker.dll(I think, never used it but once), your JediMod folder(s) or whatever, your SP/MP cracks, adn that's about it. Now do a clean reinstallation. When it asks toy if you want to keep saved or configuration files, click NO(you already got them backed up :) The JK2 Dir might still be there, make sure it is vompletely empty. Now reinstal JK2, get the 1.05 patch, put the backed up files where you found them, execute your cracks, adn delete the jkmpconfig, if there is one already in the base dir, and replace it with the one you backed up. Oh, if its a corrupt file, like a pk3 of something that is missing required material for it to run ingame, that will halt the program too. You would then have to take all your pk3 out and place one or a few in at a time, start up JK2. Repeat this till you find the problem(That's why I dont have alot of maps or skins).

This is all I can think of dude, and is based soley on waht Ive heard adn experienced and a few remedies that worked for me. If you still got troubles try JK2 techsuppot on the official Jk2 Site.
