Hey all. I'm wondering, how do you make a mod? I was thinking about going into the profession, and I would like some do's and don'ts, pro's and con's etc...thx!

Well in mods you need to know a lot of stuff:
1)You need the cfg editor to make them these make cheats or double sabers available in parts that they are not ment to so this can allow codes or something handy little tool :)
2)One thing a moderist must really know is to view the assets. To do this you simple copy all of them and paste them into another folder. Once you have done this rename the .pk3 to .zip and you can drag out any folder you want to view and change.
3)To view .sp files or .arenas ect.... then rename them to .txt
4)Sometimes maps are used in mods you can get jk2 radiant from jk2files just search for tools. You will get behaveED with it to make scripts.
5)Now search google for tutorials e.g (Pragramname tutorial).
Hmmmmm...Ok. Wut i was thinking though, was, like, a totally customizable saber mod. Like an extensive hilt list, tckmod, and Double bladed/double sabers. Thanks for the info.
