I don't know why, but all of a sudden, every time I try to play the game, it freezes on me. In multiplayer it freezes whenever I try to edit the player data or the level selection data. If I don't change anything, then it freezes immediatley after I start the level. On single player, it freezes whenever right after I start a level. Windows (XP Home) just tells me that JK2SP.exe (JK2MP.exe for multiplayer) has encountered a problem, then it goes and restarts my computer. I have tried uninstalling the game and all mods. and reinstalling it (both off of my cd and my cousin's cd). I have tried running it both with and without the patch. I am now stumped. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I just wanna play...:(

I was using mods, but I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled the game without any mods. I kept having the problems.

Have you tried a completely clean reinstall ( deinstall + clean registry of entries using such as RegCleaner) it worked for me! :agreed:

Tut, Tut, so many probs with EAX.

Of couse, I am assuming that if you do not have a sound card that is meant to support EAX, then enasbling something which is not there can only lead to probs. Or am I being to simplistic? I have not yet encountered this prob ( touches wood---An old English Druid custom)). :moon:
