Just for curiosity, I've read the command MOVETYPE and I've read its functions. So I've added this line as a test to the reborn with the value "walk". The results I wanted to obtain was to have a NPC that never runs (just like Vader -he never runs- or a robot). When I start JK2 nothing happens, the reborn runs like a mad and EVEN JUMP!! tsk, tsk. :D :toohappy: :fistpunch: so I quit and i change the movetype value from walk to "static" but nothing happens. So What i'd like to know is if it is a useless command or if I've done something wrong...

Obvious question... Did you save, it might not let you save if you are editing the file while its still in the Pk3 file, so export it edit it and import it.

If your planning on making a map... then just make a script in behavEd, and set walking to true for the reborn.

I would not think it's anything to do with the saving but just incase find the junk.txt file then see if it has any errors like can't find filename.bsp

Search you computer for it if you do not know of it's location.

I would make a script in behaveED if i was you but make sure you save your .map file before you bsp it again.

Also i have never heard or seen this cmd in the tutorial which i am currently following, neither have i heard of it from anyone else so it may not exist.:uhm:

No no, it exist I'm sure. Just look in npcs.cfg. The suspect growed when i noticed that the command wasn't used with no one of the npcs (and there are many npcs... :toohappy:). Anyway this isn't a problem linked with a mapping activity, becouse I've just changed the npcs.cfg and I always try my mods in ladder (it is the fastest-loading-time level). ;) ;) :fistpunch:
