could someone make more tutorials because i found some and they dont apply to ef i would like to learn more abou the advanced features like forcefields etc and complex things like a lift that only a certain team can use etc

i found that i opened the example map called ctf_kln1 and there were textures i cannot find that came with gtk radiant i think textures are missing because water and lava arent there the torches arent there

can someone make a borg.map file with a few borg consoles in because i dont know how they are made and want some for my new map

my new map borg vs fed arena wont start i have compiled it and everything but it wont start when i click engage to test it, its a good map and would like to know why it wont start

You can find some borg prefabs here: http://www27.brinkster.com/migfabs/default.htm (Go to "Prefabs" then "Star Trek General" and then there are 3 borg prefab packs there) Some have been taken from the Raven .maps, I think migdog created his own bunch too.

They are in .map format. Just load them up in Radiant and then put them in your map.

If you have, double check the project settings. Make sure it points to your "BaseEF" folder, etc.

yup its the one for ef the paths are correct but textures like water, lava, etc are missing also flames (but there are some called disintrigation but they are not in both red and blue they are orange)

i hope someone can solve why i cannot try my newest map

since it does not work i can send someone whos willing to help me the .map file and let them compile it and see if it works if it does/doesnt when i finally get it to work ill mention you in the credits

you need mapextras.pk3 and only the red and blue flames are in the game. the regular fire only has the first texture named in the shader so it can't work. since Raven didn't use it, they never finished it. If you want a regular fire ask Stukatto on the raven mod board. He loaned it to me, i'm sure he'll let you have it also. Water ias in Holodeck_temple and lava is in....the training map :uhm: I think it's holodeck_training
