Hi i have a question, i have a skin i repainted but want to name it a different name, and i want to use it so that it can be selected within the game with the new name without any problems with the older skin name/file. what do i do?:deal:

Rename the folder to your skin name.

For example, let's say you're skinning HM-Munro, all the files are in

models/players2/munro

Just rename "munro" to your skinname, like

models/players2/skinname

And then repack the file into a .pk3 using WinZip.

i tried that and what happens is it conflicts with the old file and the actual model is invisible

I don't know how it is in EF, but in jkII it is this way:+

Apart from renaming the folder you have to change all .skin files in this folder. That means when your folder's name is now "skinname" then you have to change all paths at the skin files into "/skinname/".
