First off, you need Winzip Freely available at (get the trial version.. it's free to use and has no limits) (Do NOT change any settings for winzip.. let it use the default settings)

(you didn't tell me which game, so I'm going ot assume it's EF1) Next, in your EF1/BaseEF folder, make a new folder called "mapname" (give it the name of your map, no spaces or capital letters. Uses hyphens or underscores to separate words.. eg. ctf_mymap or dm_this-map, etc. So, you're folder will be like "EF1/BaseEF/mapname" Next, make a folder called 'maps' in your 'mapname' folder It'll look like this: "EF1/BaseEF/mapname/maps" In your maps folder put your .bsp file

Now go back to your 'mapname' folder, highlight the 'maps' folder and right click to get that menu. Look for the option which says "Winzip" When you highlight that option a new menu will come out.. click the second option, which will say "Add to".. It will create a file in your 'mapname' folder. Rename "" to "mapname.pk3" (change mapname to the name you want, same rules as above, no spaces, etc etc) Right click on "mapname.pk3" and go to the "Winzip>Add to" option again This puts your .pk3 in a .zip file so you can send it out :) If you have a readme to send out also, then highlight the readme and the mapname.pk3 and then right click and do the Winzip thing

If the file extensions are hidden, then open "My Computer" Go to Tools>Folder Options Click on the "View" tab In the list, find one that says "Hide extensions for known file types" UNcheck it.. Now go back and try to rename the .zip to .pk3

It might sound confused.. try reading along this post while doing it... :)
