Hi,

I'm moding some skins by changing the colors in photoshop, but when I save the images in the .pk3 file and I start EF the console can't load my skins, the error "Omitted at Compile-Time" appears... Can you experts help me?

Many Thanks, Seven

I have literally just solved this problem for CMcQ (as in less than 2 minutes ago!)

The Quake 3 engine does not support progressively encoded JPEG's, they have to be standard encoded. So just click options and change the type :)

Now I'm just gonna run off with CMcQ to discuss how bloody creepy this is....lol

Yes but how can I do this with Photoshop?

Alas I do not know Photoshop, I would presume that if you go File-->Save As, select JPEG, then there would be an options button to allow you to choose the encoding.

Well, i don't think that photoshop uses another type to save jpeg's. The problem is somewhere else. Did you change the imagesize?

There is "Standard" and "Progressive", I wasn't sure of Photoshop as I don't have it, so I asked someone who did and they said Photoshop does indeed give you the choice of the type. Anyhow the JPEG's must be "Standard". If they are when you save and EF refuses to load them then you probably have a faulty EF as even the weirdest dimensions will still load in EF (they'll just get seriously mis-shaped).
