Hi, this is my first stab at mapping, I've only released one mod so far (the cannon cadets mod, version 2 coming soon). Essentially its an RPG map for EF2 set on an Ambassador Class ship. It's based on an RPG I'm a member of. If it's well recieved, I plan to custom make texture add-on packs to rechristen the ship to a name of your choice (say for the first 5 or 10 people to download it for use).
Anyway, here's some screenies. They cover the bridge, obs lounge, ready room, engineering, and sickbay. Also nearly done is the mess hall, crew quarters and the inside of a nacelle.
Since I believe it's never to early to beg... can someone please help me with the turbolifts? I havn't the foggiest idea how to script so at the moment there's only the (very limited) network of jefferies tubes to get around.
And here's some more...
Well Done!, I Like it, but I must say the EF2 Textures are dull, I think of starships to be bright places, but with EF2 they are dull but it looks good, cnt wait til it is released
awsome id download it. as said needs better textures 9/10
I agree, the textures in EF2 are quite dull... I wanted to get a feeling of the late TMP/ Early TNG era with this... so I stuck to as much grey as I could, but it does look a tad depressing... I'll probably add a few more custom textures as i go...

Well if your doing late TMP early TNG the sickbay is Post-Dominion war
So are the consoles all over the ship... My excuse is that they pulled her out of mothballs for the Dominion war and upgraded her... that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :giggle:
Looking good, but again, the textures need more work, and you should open up the Bridge a bit, make it a little bigger. Its to cramped as it is now. Actually, now that I think about it, you need to open up all the rooms a bit, it looks a little bit clausterphobic (sp?) in them currently. Lol at your story.
Ironically, the claustorphobic atmosphere is intentional. The general air is supposed to be functional/ basic. There is quite a bit of room to move about on the bridge (although it does still looked cramped) and there's lots of corridor space to wander through. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try and incorporate them!
Lol. Ok. Looking good still.
