I have send some new ef maps about 3 WEEKS ago now. How long do I wait before considering you did not receive it and I have to resummit?

Can you please make an email system to inform us that you have receive our summission?

Do you need more effiles staff?

So many questions...

Sorry about the wait Gigon :( I can't speak for all staffers, but personally I haven't been very free for the last couple weeks (pretty much only because it's the last few weeks of classes and, as always, everything is due at this time). I have about a week off between my last classes and my first exam so I will have some time in the upcoming days to clear out the inbox.

Though to give you an idea of what the current state of the Inbox is: 3 models from Eric Staub - Mar 24 Mock Arena update from you - Mar 25 Expanded Sea Temple from Catalyst - Mar 26 Modern Weapons Mod from Omega1989 - Mar 26 Lalava Statino from you - Mar 27 CTF Cage War from Wolvereen - Mar 28

Those are all in the backlog from March. I hope to get all of these files up within the next 3 days (barring unforseen circumstances, like unfinished work, errors in submissions, ef1 in ef2 and vice versa situations, FN going down.. etc)

April submissions so far are: USS Achilles from Chris Edmund - April 2 CTF Sigma from Chibakka - April 2 USS Achilles from Chris Edmund - April 3 (note that because he resubmitted for no reason, his April 2 file submission has been removed from the queue. i.e. CTF Sigma will be uploaded first now.) EF2 10to5 from Benjamin - April 3 MP3Gen from Bluehair - April 3

Total files in queue: 10 March queue: 6 April queue: 4

I (again can't speak for others because I have NO idea what anyone else at EFFiles does in terms of file handling) will only be uploading files in the backlog first before even touching files submitted in April. Atleast some files will go up between now and tomorrow (Wednesday) night, all March files will be up by Friday (latest).

So that explains it... Still, I wish instead of just having a mailbox (which limits the size of the files that can be submitted, and the mailbox goes offline so often) they could just have a special submitters ftp that people can drop stuff into and everything submitted would just go directly to the admins ftp.

Update: 5 files have been uploaded. Current queue for March: Modern Weapons Mod from Omega1989 - Mar 26 Lalava Station from you - Mar 27 CTF Cage War from Wolvereen - Mar 28

It's currently 7:45pm Thursday, I may be able to finish tonight, though I can't say for sure as I may be going out tonight :D So again, tomorrow is the latest it'll take for all of these files to go up.

Eric: the mailbox no longer has restrictions on file sizes (it used to be a problem before, but it seems to be fixed now). Also, the mailbox is usually down at the same time as the rest of FN (including FTP's)... but anyway, I do believe that some time in the future FN will have some kind of upload area for developers. I don't know any specifics on that, but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in one of Pro's updates last year.

I will try and send out emails when files arrive just so people know that their file got through.
