OK, so I made small mod to make the Starfleet Academy bits cannon. All I did was make the cadet uniforms seen in the DS9 episode Valiant (and in the photo at the beginning of Field of Fire) in the three departmental colors, then I altered the .tik files for the cadets... put everything in a .PK3 and dropped it into my base folder... and Hey-presto! Nothing... not a sausage. What have I done wrong? How do I get the computer to recognise the new files and not the old ones. I checked the directory structure in my pk3, it's all in the right place, so please, someone, tell me what I'm missing! :madman:

EF2 loads pk3's from Z to A (i.e. pk3 files with a 'Z' will overwrite the files in a pk3 file with the letter "X"). Since all the tik files are in pak20.pk3, you just have to make sure that your pk3 starts with a letter after 'p'. Most commonly, people just put a bunch of 'zzz's at the front of their pk3 so that it's assured to load first. ex. zzzz-new_uniforms.pk3

... only thing I can think of that could cause it not to work..
