Ive been trying to setup EF II DEdicated Server on linux for the past three days I don't know what else to try....Ive tried everything, please if anyone can help it would be greatly appretiated

I think you might be better off posting this at the ef.com forums: http://forums.eliteforce.com/index.php?showforum=16 I *think* gameRevolt (one of the admins there) runs an EF2 Linux server.. he might be able to help :)

I see possibly an error there.... set net_ip should just be the ip, not including the port (I dont think you need to fill in net_ip ... we don't use it, however look at the bottom of that log, the last digit is different of the ip there....if you use it then check your ip.). but set the port with set net_port ....
this is the command line from one of the SFEF EF2 servers....we run it on redhat 9.
screen -A -m -d -S SFEF_EF2_Server ./linuxef2ded +set dedicated 2 +set net_port 29253 +exec disi.cfg
