I have a netgear router. What do I have to do to get pass my firewall to start a Spearhead server? Do I use the ip adress that my router gives me or the ip adress my broadband gives me? Is there start/end ports that I need? I can't get it to work..need help please.

correct, you need to open the proper ports, id suggest you do it to all of your games, you will get much better speeds if you do so

Make sure sure all your cables are the same or otherwise it'l cause trouble. Start a server and have every one set their connection type to LAN and have them join to your IP address. Make sure the server isn't pure either
