Could you send me the Stock Nebula and Galaxy please? the TrekMods one has bad texture errors (like the lighting maps is off so bad (i had to reinstall the v534-C patch twice to restore SBs)...and shuttlebay 2 doesn't show but 3 shows up at the edge of the secondary hull....)
What's your e-mail address?
Just reinstall the game to a temporary location, and copy the models from there.
Mr_Tricorder fixed the Trekmods Nebula and Sovereign for me, they will be released in my Stock Ship Replacement mod...... in about a month.....
Hello Green. I am new around here and having some issues putting ships into the game  , I know you are a busy person, but i sent you an email, if ya get a chance i would help me a lot
Ok I belive this is what is NOT being done, I prob overlooked this but i did not see it in your guide green
Victory123Here is how to get the correct number, Sry green, one more thing to add to the tutorial.. Go into your main SFC directory, and find the file called SFC.INI. Open that up in Notepad or something like that. Scrolldown till you see the [3D] section, should be the 3rd section. At the bottem of that section, add this line EXACTLY: writeoutmodelsizfile=1 Now, what you do then is simple. go into your models folder, and take out every folder that you do NOT want to size. IE, if you only added the Valdore, ONLY leave the Valdore file in. You can delete the rest and then restore them from recycle bin or copy the models folder to a new location, which ever works for you. Then, load up the game as you normally would, and go into single player skirmish. On the second menu, click the single player button. At this point the game will freeze, don't freak out it's normal. Just let it sit and do it's thing. The more models you have in the models folder the longer it will be frozen, which is why I told you to take all the rest out. When it finally flips to the next screen, just exit the game. Then, go back to the models folder, and you should see a new file created which is called models.siz Open this file in Notepad, and you'll see the path of the model file and a number beside it. Don't worry about the decimal point, just remove it. Say if it says 12.34 then you just type in 1234 in the 8th slot. Then the shield rings will be the exact correct size for that ship.
Also, if you want a good replacement for the Galaxy-Class, download the Galaxy X, also known as the Entante-Class here. It's the first one not the second. It's a good ship and easy to install. If you need specs for it, just ask and I'll post them.
i think I'll go for the reinstall...I call the Galaxy X the Galaxy II (I might have to learn to model in MilkShape..so I can make the Galaxy III (a Galaxy design I saw in USS Miranda, it shows the primary hull as the Ent-D saucer...)..and I already have the Galaxy II...just need specs.... :)
Here's the specs I used for mine.
