I hate the fact that Taldren decided to make them yellow instead of red like they should have been. I was wondering what weapon texture file controls the color of the phasers?

FX1.BMP It's in the 'Textures folder. The phaser fire is the line above The ED in the word paused. Most color changes work, Blue doesn't. Red should.

also, You can make a copy of the Fx1.bmp, and rename the copy to fx_mauler_beam.bmp and edit it to change the color of the Romulan Disruptor Beam.

Thanks for the help. I noticed when I had the GAW 1.0 mod that type 9 phasers were blue (well, cyan to be precise) and the rest yellow. Is there a way to do that? Also, the extra targeting reticules in the textures folder, how do I use those?

No problem. In your SFC.ini file, under the[3d] heading, type BlueLight=1 The type 9 phasers will now be blue. The Shade of blue, however, will vary depending on what color your regular phasers(types10-13) are... As for the extra reticules, I have no idea. I think they were just left there because older SFC Games used them. Maybe SFC3 was intended to, but that, like so many other things, was cut from the release version.:(
