Greetings Everyone, I have recently been getting more into the modding ships, or well atleast changing ship weapons around and decreasing or increasing cost, mass and what have you. What I am curious of though is where does one go to get the nessary programs to create your own ships and what have you. I have long wanted to do so, and would appriate any help I can get in this idea. Thanks, FallenPhoenix
the usual programs are 3ds max, milkshape 3d, you can use truespace (made from caligari). for 3ds max, you'll need to do some tutorials.. its pretty hard if you dont know the program.
I see.. well I am willing to learn the systems, was always told I was good at catching on to such things, where would I go to get any of that at present? I have tons of ship ideas and would love to put some of it to work and see how it turns out. Thanks for the quick reply on that as well :) Fallen
Got three thousand bucks lieing around somewhere?:lookaround: If so, go to discreet.com for 3dsmax.
Just a wee bit shy of 3,000 -.- Got anything less then that or possibly free? I can't imagine that there arent' cheaper or free ones out there. Fallen
Hmmm, I just looked up truespace and it's only 600 bucks. I just wish I had that kind of dough lieing around here.:lookaround:
Ok... tell me how do these people get the money to just sit back and make ships then? I have nearly a full time job and dont' have an extra 300 laying around...
you can download the demos... for free... 30 day trials or something like that
Greetings once more,
Is that so? Where can I download the demos at? and I appriate the help I am getting from you all on this
