Thanks, but I figured it out. Turns out I needed to change the starting ships in the Character and ItemRules files. Sorry about my freakout yesterday, but I was having an EXTREMELY bad day.
I looking for a good, new Romulan Light Cruiser and Klingon Destroyer. Any recommendations? Note: This is not a request for ships to be made, just asking if anyone hass seen some good ones.

Also, why remove the Cardassians from the mod? Also, don't worry about the freakout yesteday, sh!t happens. In fact I posted back a LENGTHY explanation of why I dissed the ships. I even got flamed by some [email="dumb@$$"]dumb@$$[/email] Guest who feels I should "get alife".
Thanks, I'll go through there archives. I didn't want to remove the Cardassians from the mod, but whenever I made a map with them on it and tried to use that map in a campaign, it wouldn't work and I would get an abnormal program terminiation. If I can get around that problem, I'll try and put them back in.
Did you name the race "Cardassian" on the map, because calling it Cardassians" or "Imperial Cardassian Union" or anything elsewould cause a crash, so ensure that the name matches the ShortEmpireName in the Racenames.GF file.

Okay, it didn't work. I want to try and get this thing out before school starts in September, so I'm going to just leave the Cardies out of the mod for now. However, I will include Cardassian ships, stats, and modified CommonSettings files in the mod that are seperate from the main files, so that anyone that feels like swapping races can. In the meantime, I've almost finished with adding the final ships into the game and I'll post a list that shows what ships each race has. I'm working on changing weapon and shield strengths as well. Also is it possible for the Romulan Disruptor textures to be changed so they resemble the ones from Nemesis? I heard about it somewhere and was interested. That's all for now.
NEVER rush a mod! Don't worry about getting it out before school, rushing usually leads to said project being of lower quality. I'd rather wait, and get a good mod than get crap one immediatly. Heck, my mod Probably won't be done for QUITE a while. As for the Romulan disruptors, yes they can be changed, but no, they cannot be made into pulse weapons. Copy the fx_ion_cannon.bmp in the textures folder, and rename the copy to FX_Mauler_beam.bmp. Now, change the part that would normally be the Ion Cannon (Above the "D" in "Paused").
