I've been modifying my shuttles around abit, and adding some new ships into the game, all has gone well, except that when I try to launch a shuttle, the sound goes, and then no shuttle ever appears. It confounds me. I'll include my modified data lines for the shuttles. okay, here's the obvious question. do all the items you have on the ship fit in the hull space supplied? i've had similar problems when i tried to modify shuttles and there wasn't enough hull space for my changes. that's the only thing i can think of.
I've compared it with my specs, and it looks like everything should fit, unless you've meddled around with the mass settings in the .gf files. You could check 'invalid ships.txt' in the sfc3 folder(C:\Program Files\Activision\sfc3\).
My best guess is that in the defaultloadout, where you have 'Type 6 Shuttle' it should be 'Federation Shuttle', again based on my spec files.
i agree with z z nine. that doesn't look quite right.
Yup, took out the 'Type 6' bit and put it back as 'Federation Shuttle' and it worked just fine.
