Ultimate Conquest - 9 Race Mod "Ultimate Conquest" adds 5 new NPC races to the map in conquest mode. New races are: *Cardassian *Ferengi *Species 8472 *Rakellian *Pirate Here is a picture of the map used in "Ultimate Conquest: http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k69/Everitt_Cage/ultimateconquestmap.jpg This mod is very much a work in progress. Therefore, instead of taking the time to find different ships for every class for every race, each race uses only one model for all ship classes. For example, the Ferengi use the Marauder model for every class, the Pirates use the PirateLtCruiser for every class, Rakellians use Race_Y_Light, Species8472 uses 8472frigate, and Cardassians use Galor. To add more ships to each race, simply replace the model names in the "DefaultCore" and "DefaultLoadOut" files with the names of the models you would like to use or that race/class. Starbases, Freighters, and Shuttles are included for Cardassian, Ferengi, and Species 8472. Cardassian and Rakellian ships use the same weapons as the Federation. Ferengi and Pirate ships use the same weapons a the Klingons, but do not have cloak. Species 8472 ships use romulan weapons, but do not have cloak. Species8472 ships also have Borg regenerating hulls instead of shields. Without modification, the game automaticly assumes that race relations are as follows: *Federation vs Romulan, Borg, Species8472, Cardassian, Rakellian, Pirate *Klingon vs Romulan, Borg, Species8472, Cardassian, Rakellian, Pirate *Romulan vs Federation, Klingon, Borg, Cardassian, Rakellian, Pirate *Borg vs all races *Species8472 vs all races *Cardassian vs Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Borg, Species 8472, Rakellian, Pirate *Ferengi vs Borg, Species8472, Rakellian, Pirate *Rakellian vs Borg, Species8472, Pirate *Pirate vs Borg, Species8472, Rakellian To change race relations, adjust the numbers in the "MetaMap" file, found in the SFC3\MetaAssets\ServerProfiles\SinglePlayer\ folder. INSTALLATION 1)Install SFC3 from cd. 2) install sfc3 beta patch v534_b. 3) Copy the "Assets" and "MetaAssets" folders from the "Ultimate Conquest" folder and paste them into your main SFC3 directory. CREDITS *Galor, Cardcargo, Cardbase, Species8472 frigate, Species8472cargo, and *Species 8472base taken from Unimatrix01's "Project Armada" mod. *Species8472shuttle taken from Starfleet Command Orion Pirates. *FerengiFreighter, FerengiShuttle, FerengiStarbase, PirateFreighter, and *Pirate Shuttle taken from Starfleet Command 3. My mod has the same thing too, if you are interested you can take a look at it and perhaps we could share some ideas you will have to install all of them to get it to work but if you only want to look at the files, v1.2 has the map in it True Trek Mod True Trek Mod Patch (1.1) True Trek Mod (1.2)

Looks like we've all had the same idea- I've got the same thing, except Ferengi instead of Species8472. I've also included all the ships available on filefront instead of using one model for each type.

What would really be great is if we could A) create a 10 race mod (or more) and B) get the changing political tensions over time to implement properly.

I'm willing to work together, I already offered to share my files in another thread, but only got one taker...

the best improvement would be to figure out how to make the 9 races all playable. but that would require serious modding skills

Dynaverse is in the process of making a SFCIV that will.

I believe the project Dynaverse is working on is based on the mechanics of SFCOP, and will be set in the same time period as OP.

eh, I'm not a huge fan of the pre-TNG games, but anything dynaverse makes will be free, so I'll at least give it a try :p

Hey, so you going to add the rest of the ships to your mod? I've been holding off on packaging mine on the off chance you'll include the whole OOB for the additional races. Also, I don't remember seeing a shipnames file? Or did I miss that?

Well, its like this: I have ships for all classes for Cardassian and Species 8472. However, I have not been able to find enough *quality* ships for Ferengi, Rakellian, and Pirates. And I have not done a shipnames file. In fact, despite my efforts I have not been able to fix the game calling pirate and rakellian ships "species8472". If you could possibly help with any of the above mentioned items it would be great.
