Hi, Yesterday I started to play SCIII ! The first Problem I had was the well known directX9 Error,of course !! ok first u got to uninstall sfc3 an deleat the root sfc3 folder then install sfc3 then update directX9 then install the newest patch then install what ever mod you want.
Okay thanks :) I already tried it this way, but I will try again.
To avoid a start error with the patch deactivate visual designs, then it should work without problems.
Ive got the same problem and ive deleted evrything of sfc 3 then installed the latest patch but i still get the unhandled error message after the starting movie has finished. Is there a way to fix it or is my game bust!!
The problem is the visual design option in Windows compatibility mode. Right click on the sfc3.exe, go to compatibility and deactivate visual designs as well as advanced text mode. I had the same problem for months until I did this. Please post again if this doesn't help.
