Emulating to Windows 2000 compatibility seems to do the trick for me... I only use the "Makeitso" setting when I'm too lazy to look for the disc. :p

no i havent dont know what Makeitso=1? is? how do you do it

"Makeitso" is a setting that only came with the latest patch... it allows you to play the game without having to insert the disc... it's in the Activision/Sfc3 folder called "sfc.ini". Search for the "Makeitso=0", and change the value to 1 in order to play without the disc...

It's in the documentation. What's not documented, as far as I can see, is the "ShipSize" attribute in DefaultCore.txt Adding a ship and leaving this out is an easy way to crash the game, but what "size" do you use?
