I've tried to get a new ship into SFC:III for ages now. I do everything the readme says, I C+P the right text into the right documents, and it still doesn't work. The game freezes while loading up a campaign. I reinstalled it and tried a different ship, same problem, I reinstalled, tried yet another ship, same problem. As I said, I followed the instructions word for word. Is there something I need to do to prepare SFC:III for a modded ship? Bridge Commander requires the that a certain option be active before you can use a ship, is that why it's not working? Thanks in advance.

Do not use notepad or any text editor to "C+P" specs. The specs file can be open as tables in Excel and you can add new ships there.
