i have been going through JK2 single-player on JM level and taking some screenshots of level-ends.

WELL i just went and browsed them and they are all bogus! they didn't record the level-end screen - all they contain is all the textures for crosshairs, fonts, and a bunch of other behind-the-scenes BS that i don't give a care about! :(

it sux.

oh well.

also the ones that did come out right (regular 'in-game' screenshots) look way too bright compared to what the game actually looks like. the pure-white areas are overbright, bleeding, and the whole pic basically looks 'too bright, washed-out'! :(

does this have something to do with taking .jpgs as screenshots instead of .tgas? i wonder... i DO have my gamma up slightly higher than 'normal' (recommended settings) but the game is POSITIVELY NOT washed-out when i play it. something is making these SS's brighter...

it sux.

oh well.

Right click on your desktop and click on properties now when it loads go to settings and change the color to normal.

open jk2 and go to settings now make the color back to normal or reset everythink back to how it was when you started playing jk2 by simple going to video then pick the last option and restart it

Note: this will not reinstall jk2 it will reset the settings

Good luck
