i think we should give Darth Maul a little respect... he was the one to introduce the Double-Bladed Lightsaber and since then everyone started making dualblade mods (example: JediMod, JediPlus, OmniMod ...)!! and besides, Dath Maul looks awesome, he looks like a real SITH, Darth Vader looked kinda stupid with his huuuuge helmet (sorry to all those Darth Vader fans, but that had to be said)..also Anakin Skywalker was the first one to use two lightsabers at the same time, i wish the scene could've been longer :D Darth Maul  s

Vader would have, and could have owned Maul anyday. Show me a badder ass than Vader, please.

Vaders more machine than man (as you will see in episode 3, checkout the link in signature for SW3 story). Whether or not he could have defeated maul is soooooo debatable. Fact is Obi-Wan got lucky. Maul was kicking his & Qui-Gons behinds all over the galaxy & Obi-Wan defeated Maul with the element of surprise (luck).

Anyways, whether Vader could beat Maul is very debatable. The whole SW story is pretty dodgy in its own right, so I'm not sure. With the loss of his body, Anakin/Vader lost most of those whatcha-ma-callits in his blood stream, so theoretically, that should decrease his force power as well, hence, why he can't force lightning. I don't know. I really don't feel like getting into the holes of the whole SW story & besides, it's totally off the topic at hand.

I wasn't aware that anyone was disrespecting Maul, he's a cool character, but they don't give him much time in the movies so that really makes his character disappointing & maybe thats you may be hearing some negativity towards Maul; But him & Obi-Wan do put on a good show with the duel in Episode 1, to me that was damn near the whole movie right there.

O ya, just so you know, vader has that helmet on because its part of a breathing screen. He requires it because he fell into a pit of lava & Sidous saved him, but at the same time put him in the position to fall in the lava, but Anakin/Vader never finds that out. Checkout the SW3 story, the flick should be way cool. With the time their making people wait, it better be the best Star Wars yet; But I still think the original 3 will always be the best, not just because of the storyline, but the actors working environment. Harrison Ford & Carry Fisher made those movies what they are, ie, giving the characters character.

Mark Hamil is cool & is a good actor, but to me he did a decent job, nothing more. Carey Fisher & Harrison adlibbed their own lines with smart ass comments, like when Harrison Ford was about to be frozen in carbonite, where Carey Fisher says "I love you" he was supposed to say "I love you", but instead he says "I know". Stuff like that gives the character character & Carey Fisher & Harrison Ford both did that, where Mark Hamil didn't. Mark Hamil is a good actor & he did his job, I just feel Harrison Ford & Carey Fisher did more than their job & they are one of the biggest reasons why Star Wars is the legendary saga it is.

To each their own opinion.

Harrison Ford was the perfect guy to play Han Solo. They were both Humorous and Harrison's acting was really great! I agree with Marker0077. The trilogy is the best!

Samuel L jacksons is the worst in my opinion. Maybe because im wating for him to say. "Comon mutha focker" like in all his other movies..I dont think he was comfortable acting with the blue screen behind him.

Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, and Harisson Ford are the best Star Wars actors. They can play many other roles which is proven.

Mark Hamill didnt do much after Star Wars. Mainly because Star Wars tainted him. Every time you see him you see Luke Skywalker. With Ford you could see ford. Mark for some reason seemed to much like his character.

I heard Richard Dryfeus almost got the part of Harrison Ford..lol

ROFL - that's just too funny. I totally see where you're coming from, but I think he did a good job. When I watch a movie I look at them as actors & not the actual characters, so I didn't have that problem; But I am a big pulp fiction fan as well as other Sam Jackson flicks & I found that comment halarious, thanks for the laugh.

Again, I see them as actors & not characters so I don't have that perception, but I do see where your coming from. Perhaps that's true, I'm not sure what his story is. I think it might be something along the lines that I was saying before with the Star Wars flicks, he did his job & nothing more.

yeah, He played a great Luke Skywalker. Having him back for episode 7 if there will ever be one will be a must...

Seams like some hollywood people wouldnt understand and think he isnt good enough to come back because he didnt make it big afterwards...Thats a joke..with out him Star Wars could have just as well sucked.
