I don't spend enough time here

does anyone know where the jediknightii.net forums moved to? Cuz whenever i try to load that page, it doesn't come up?
the jediknightii forums, also known as lucasforums, r being moved to a new faster server. this move also has another problem as the dns needs to be changed and it takes some time if those changes r updated. so in short language, just wait a while and then go back to www.lucasforums.com ;)
wow pad. the one site i dont see you as a mod on....your a normal person, just like the rest of us.
mwhuahahaha, ill never be normal :D
here is some more info which i got from metallus (lf admin) on whats goin on with lucasforums:
So, it seems LucasForums has been down for more than a day now, eh? You're probably wondering what's going on. Here's how it breaks down: Basically, LucasForums is in the process of moving to its own, more powerful server. And it's for real this time.
This will mean better loading speed for many LFN sites that had shared bandwidth and server space with this bloated-but-lovable community site. It also means that some (possibly) sorely missed forum features such as the search function, the option to put images in signatures, and others may make a triumphant return in the near future.
As of this very moment, the LFNetwork webjedis/monkeys are hard at work getting this sucker configured, and are ironing out the final snags and bugs. Although the downtime has been a bit longer than predicted, we're expecting LucasForums to be back up and running within the next day. Apologies for the interruption in service!
i just finished reading that just as i found out you replied here...im so excited, i just hope i didn't lose any post count...but that will be cool, especially if we get graphic sigs...i just cant wait...
normally u wouldnt loose any posts ;) as evrything was backed up before moving.
and i have good/bad feelings about graphs in sigs. u can show nice thing in ur sig but the bad thing is ppl will use that power wrongly and will choose too big a pic (just watch). that makes the scrolling in the forums go bigger and secondly, i dont think it would be that good for 56k users. ;)
see, that can be solved, all the forums that i goto that allow graphic sigs have size restrictions, the main site/forum besides lucasforums that i goto is www.jedi-outcast.com they have sig limit of 475 pixels by 150 pixels...alot of space to make a nice sig. i have some cool ones...and also if the sig is bigger than the size restrictions, mods are allowed to delete them...
