g_saberrealisticcombat 's FIRST level would only 'breakup' weak enemies, like stormtroopers, upon touch by the lightsabres. Jedis and Siths/Dark jedis are not affected by this.

I'm not sure about the third level, though, since I seldom use it.

Actually dismemberment of other body parts can be just as easily done WITHOUT cheats. All you need to do is to edit the npcs.cfg file. But you only get top dismember them once.

Hey "thedyinginformant", do what you want dude, but the g_saberrealisticcombat IS considdered to be a console cheat beause it does alter the aspects of the game itself, for good or ill, it don't matter. However, you should note that the "cheat" only make's saber combat MORE realistic. After all, anything which can cut some super space metal with ease is more than capable of slicing a person in half like butter without even trying (remember that saber blades are presumed to be plasma suspended within a magnetic field of some sort. I don't know about you, but I can't stand on the surface of the sun (which is made of plasma) without getting my toes toasted for my effort). So, in my opinion, if you want it more realistic, use the cheat, but if you want drawn out battles (which are more fun), just use the in game spec's. I do believe there is a cheat which turns dismemberment on without using the g_saberrealisticcombat cheat, but I can't remember it right now. Hope this helps, bud...............

Bye and as always, "live long and mod".

ok here we go.

first open ur assest0.pk3 and look for something called npcs.cfg when ur there ull c something that should look EXACTLY like this/

dismemberProbHead 0 probability of head being dismembered ( from 0 (never) to 100 (always) ) dismemberProbArms 0 probability of arms being dismembered ( from 0 (never) to 100 (always) ) dismemberProbHands 0 probability of hands being dismembered ( from 0 (never) to 100 (always) ) dismemberProbLegs 0 probability of legs being dismembered ( from 0 (never) to 100 (always) ) dismemberProbWaist 0 probability of waist being dismembered ( from 0 (never) to 100 (always) )

on every npc (if u want) put 100 under eachof those catagories zip it up to a pk3 and put the .pk3 in ur gamedata/base folder and ur all set no more devmap fer u
