I've posted this on "A Mistake? 2", but it got closed/locked. Since the message was locked because of another reason, I've decided to bring the lightsabre mistake out.
Lightsabres emmiting light. Lightsabres DO cast light on objects. Look at Yoda. When he activated his lightsabre, parts of him glowed green. Yet, Dooku does not glow red. Only Yoda. and only Yoda's shadow is affected by the lightsabre. And the floors didn't glow as well when Anakin held his sabre pointing down. JK2 has lightsabres casting lights on the ground, and affecting the shadows, though.
I know there is this thing about giving out light wasting energy, but since it manage to alter Yoda's shadows, and still cast lights on Yoda, it wouldn't be a good answer... right?
If it happened in the Original trilogy, it would've been forgivable. But in the PT, having technology which is much better, where anything is possible, this shouldn't be happening...
As usual, don't say anything about the mistake's quality. Discuss about the mistake's topic itself.

Even JK2 has made some boo-boos with its saber glow... you remember the really dark room on Nar Shadaa, when you and Lando are trying to free up the ship? You take Lando up to the control room. He says that the doors need to be opened. You go down the lift. You might run along the platforms on the ship side to clear the enemies, like I did. Then, you cross the bridge, and you enter the room with a deep red pit, populated by Weequays. You kill them, the next room's dark. I don't know about you, but after I got the saber, I used it almost all the time. The disrupter for unreachable enemies. Now, the saber didn't cast even that blue blob on the floor. You had to switch to night-vision.
And yeah, WJTW, I noticed that in Ep2. After Anakin cuts whatever he does that shuts down the lights, all that's illuminated is them and the smoke - but maybe the smoke was what stopped the light reaching the surroundings. As for Dooku not glowing, I'll have to re-watch Ep2 to see that one.
u do relize that would be really hard to do even with our tech. if uve seen them behind the scence (u prollie have) they use plastic ones like at walmart lol. and as we all know plastic doesnt emit light but im sure it would if it were real but its not sadly :(.
Yeah, that's another thing I wanted to point out. By right, the sabres' glow on the floors in JK2 should be more luminous in the dark. But it seem to me that whenever the glow touches a 'shadowed' part, the glow would disappear. Maybe the shadow's layer is above the glow's? Strange way JK2 works.

The light could've been digitally inserted, right? But only Yoda glow, but it might be because Yoda was a computer generated character and hence, making him glow is simply adding an extra light to the model. But at least they could've made the characters glow on those stills on the VCD covers. If I'm right, the actors posed especially for this, and not taken straight out from the movie.
yea i guess. hey did u know that when obi went to that guys caffe his whole uper body was digital. i couldnt even tell in any mark
still would be tuff to add that. error city my friend
Really? Oh my! I'll look out for it. In EP2, right?
