I have began working on a Neo skin for Mp with bot support ....This is only a beta so expect better shaders on the end model....pix soon.. Will provide skins to suit Subway and Dojo maps...... Im going to this effort as well as (Jet Li) in the works to try to convince or inspire creators of Jedi Mod or Plus+++3 to do a kungfu/Ninja combat mod in the vien of the One/Matrix/Blade. This encompased with the sword play would make grounds for many film based ideas expressed on this forum. In re: to the post bout monsters - if the the base models for the atst and the xwing are playable models SP couldnt you use a variant on these scaled(HUGE) to be the basis for large monsters????? Use milk shape 3d to change core model???

you can just as well make a small model and scale it up by changing the scale property of the npc you're trying to replace with a monster in the npcs.cfg file

Currently I'm testing my Dragon Remix for multiplayer compatability (it was supposed to only be a SP mod but...). Not Kung Fu (yet..) but it's got Katanas and such. The Matrix and Blade levels seem to work fine so far.

Yea, giant monster/robots are easy for single player: gun2.jpggun.jpg

You'd need the JediMod to manipulate it in MP though. It would be cool for a Jedi Master/King of the Hill type game.

covax i was wondering how you got those robot things to shine like that i know its a sahder but i dont know how to use shaders so if you could plzzz post the command up

:cool: Nope, no shaders. I don't know anything about shaders (yet).

I just altered the JPEGs. Paint Shop Pro has an effect called Laquer which I use often, there's also a bunch of other tools. Most of them are in the PSP demo, but the cool filters are in the 'second edition'.

Cloud: I use Paint Shop Pro 7.04. Yes, Photoshop is more 'professional' but I find PSP easier and faster to use. You should have a decent about of 'filter' effects as well, thats how I made the Black-Ops Stormtroopers.

AOJ: For single player games you have to edit the npcs.cfg file. where the character is you want to find a pat that oges something like... (the numbers don't have to be exact)

yawSpeed 50 walkSpeed 45 runSpeed 150 dismemberProbHead 100

You want to add a 'scale' command and the percentage you want the model to show up as:

yawSpeed 50 walkSpeed 45 runSpeed 150 scale 135 dismemberProbHead 100

So, adding that the bad guyy will be 35% taller, just a big as Desann. There seems to be no real limit exept fot the map, the pics you see above are running at about 300% size.

You'll see it didn't work to well for the Galak Mech.. the shield is still the same size.

so you can have a yoda model the correct size in SP? why dont you put yoda in your mod :D it would be cool :D and you wouldnt happen to know is photoshop has the Laquer effect?

covax i just got paint shop pro 7.0 and i dont see Laquer is your paintshop have a Jasc at the beggining?
