Yeah there is one, in AOTC, when Mace Windu comes from behind and holds his lightsaber infront of Jango. Why couldn't Dooku sense him?? Can the jedi cloud the vision of the drak side, too?? Was he to busy watching??
Also in AOTC Obi-wan couldn't sense that Jango was going to use his robe thing(don't know how its called) out of his arm to trap his hands.
A little bit off topic (i don't wanna open another thread just for this) but you mentioned TPM: When Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon free JJBinks from the gungan's boss, obi-wan says they need a navigator, JJBinks. but when the go through the core, qui-gon says that the force will guide them. so why did they need JJBinks if he's not navigating at all.
ok well ill answer the easiest first. about needing a navigator that was just a ploy to get obi to c somewhat of reason behind geting him back since obi was being a little hesitant. classic jedi wisdom.
and i think the force isnt always like there for u(for lack of better wording) its like somewhat random. i cant explain it but i dont think the force always alerts u. like the fish thing. or the beast thing in arena. maybe they cant sense wild animals. liek the fish and the acklay

Yoda says in ROTJ that the force is surround us all the time, and constently flows through a jedi...so i think it is there all the time.
Maybe they can't sense monsters because they don't have a 'mind'... but than robots don't have a mind either and jedi can sense them, i think :uhm:
I guess Qui-Gon said it to free Jar-Jar. You can tell he pitied JJBinks.
And sensing for a Knight like Obi-Wan should be quite easy. They could sense the danger from those caterpillar things attempting to attack Padme in her sleep. Sure, the Force would not tell you what exactly that thing is, but it will at least tell you danger is coming.
A separate thing. I don't know whether it is against Jedi Code or something, but look at the way Obi-Wan slain the acklay. He seem more like a blood-thirsty hunter than a Jedi. It certainly don't look like simply ending the acklay's misery from the way he landed that final slash.

I guess it is for the movie. It is supposed to look really cool so ppl go in again to see it ;). And it does look cool thow. But you are right Obi-Wan was guided by his anger that he felt for the creature, look a his face expressions. And that shouldn't be...
i lied his finishing move. there jedi not saints . well there are times when a jedi can be taken by surprise or it would be unfair. the worms were a good example cuz they were creatures and they still sensed them. hmmm meditate on this i will.
I assume Obi-wan's concentration was fully on the droids to have him sense the acklay. Someone on another forum suggested that they were unable to sense the fish was because it could be any fish, and not just one that's attacking them. But I've always thought that that ATTACKING fish would cause a disturbance in the Force, whereas the others will not be able to. And snce he is a bigger fish, the disturbance might be greater, right?

Maybe they were concentrating on guiding themselves through the core so hard that they didn't feel the big fish? Besides, it wouldn't be as dramatic if they dodged the fish before it came, than the little pod nearly getting eaten :D
well im not sure they had to concentrate. maybe they werent alert at the moment and didnt see the disturbence until it hapend. sorta like being in the moment and not seeing anything else. im not sure about the fish thou. maybe they were just in the zone
maybe it's because Obi-Wans always thinking of the future instead of the now...unless I got him confused with Anakin
