too many tweaks mods? I hear you. I think they should quit being made.

BOFH finally releases just patches, but he also puts up a full install? what's the point then?!? don't tell me if some one doesn't havethe first version there's the full install, they can search for the first Omni Mod and d/l that too. Way too many admin commands to, I'd like to meet someone you uses them all, and I mean ALL OF THEM

yeah Omni mod is good in some stuff, good admin commands(too many though) new stances, saber color, saber hilts, NPC spawning, game tweaks. It'd be a good mod if it wasn't updated every week

Well I'd like to vote on your poll man, but my answer doesn't apply to any of those options. I like some of the features in JediPlus/OmniMod, but there are some I don't, really don't. I said it before & I'll say it again, this is one of many reasons why I am getting into coding. Fortunately for me the Vulcanus coder is assisting me with a coding education in his free time (he may be using 1 or 2 of my ideas in his new release), but whether this mod will or will not be released remains to be seen. It's going to take allot of hard work & even more time, so we'll see what happens.

Back to the topic at hand, theres nothing more that can be said after the whole fiasco the JediPlus/OmniMod coder & I got into (http://forums.filesnetwork.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14721). Most people will tell you that I have some good ideas, but the coder won't listen to most of them, so where do we go from there? But it is his show, so again, where do we go from here? Hopefully I will become a 1337 coder & all of his users will start using my mod (which if I do pull this thing off, is quite possible). Right now it's so remote I wouldn't hold your breath on anything, but I will of course keep everyone informed.

Sort of ya. I play it ocassionally but because of double dual bladed sabers & people taking advantage of smaller scaled models, it gets old kinda quick. So I may play JediPlus for a little while, but its usually never more than an hour where I duel for hours & hours at a time.

I don't bother looking to see if there are any new features any more. I just use jedimod and promod now.

Why not just stick with one version you do like and not bother looking at any more updates again? If you really, REALLY don't like JediPLUS or OmniMod then stick with the original JediMod. Noone is forcing you to play BOFH's mods :)

I think he should continue with his modding, sure not every feature he brings out is useful but atleast there is some active modding happening in JK2!

AutoCept's philosophy is a good one, don't bother looking at any updates if you're happy with an older version.

The Full Install will probably make more sense in the future after a couple versions are done. Would you rather download 5 different files or 1 file which has everything? He's just giving download options and I fail to see what could be horribly wrong with that :uhm:

with keeping a older version, a majority of people have the newest version, so you don't get to play that mod very much till you get the newest one. It's like not updating JK when a new patch is released, most everyone has the new patch and some don't and those some can't get into very many games.
