Where could I go to start learning how to mod the JK2 source so I can start my own JediPlus-type of modificating?

I have tons of ideas some of which I think are very good. I believe I can improve JK2 in many ways, but I have no way of making it a reality so I would appreciate any assistance in helping me make this happen.

I tried posting this in JK2 Editing & Modding but recieved no responses, so as this forum gets used more, I am asking the question here. Anything useful would be appreciated as I am incredibly motivated to doing this project.

I wasn't referring to modifying the pak3 files, thats easy, I am referring to editing the actual source code. Editing the source code is MUCH MUCH MUCH more difficult to modify than a pk3, but thanks anyways though.

Are you talking about making new animations, new saber stances, force powers and such? If that's the case its impossible to do so right now because you need the JK2 source code, which isn't gonna be out for a very long time....Jk2 is based off the Q3 engine, and the Q3 engine is worth a few million dollars...

The only thing JediPlus/Omni do is use exsisting animations from jk2, there's no animation in there made by them...
