So they did and found the taskforce assimilated and found a small Borg fleet. The Borg attacked the USS Monarch, sending a direct hit to there forward shields. They fired phasers at a Borg Pyramid, doing some damage. The mighty Borg fleet fired at the ship again destroying its shields and damaging the hull. The ship fired everything she had at a Borg Cube damaging it. But the ship went down too soon. The Borg had destroyed the Monarch's weapons and shield generator. The captain, Michael Rodney ordered abandon ship so he could ram into one of the Borg vessels in that Borg fleet. Eight minutes later he smashed into the Borg Cube destroying it. The crew got away and the crew looked out the small window in the escape pod saying "My god..." "Oh no!" and etc to the exploding Excelsior Class. Facts about this weeks story: 1.
