The current situation with the rating system for potd's at filefront is a disgrace. Too many good pics have been given a really, really low rating for no reason. My guess is a couple of idiots using proxies to vote again and again. files doesn't require you to be logged in to vote, all it does is remember your IP. So, all we need to do is change the rules. You've gotta be logged in to vote AND record the IP address aswell. The other night I decided to keep score of who was voting what (yeah I was bored and annoyed at them) and worked it out in Excel. 10,9,10,6,9,9,10,10,1,1,3,10,1,10,1,1,10,1,1,1,1,1 0,1,10,10,10,10,1,1 As you can see way too many 1's in comparison to the rest of the votes. So anyway, just sign this petition saying that you think action should be took and i'll present it to the FileFront staff so we can stop these repetitive 1 voters using proxies. Thanks for your support, ChronowerX_GT You can sign it here but signing at CXP would make my life a lot easier :D Petition - POTD - FileFront Note to staff: Please don't remove this. I've talked to a staff member. He's ok with this.

Sounds reasonable, I would also appreciate this solution, but I'm not sure whether the (real) site managers (who do the coding etc.) want to do this or have time to do this... I think IKS talked already to them...don't remember what the result was, though.

Yeah, me too! If my memory serves well, IKS really talked to them, and it seems there's no response on that issue so far...Maybe they don't have the time, but it aslo could be a technical difficulty to do this...
