I'm in tassie by the way.

and on msn i go by ... you can probable work it out ...Gat.

the main battle tank will be the Leopard 1 with the advanced tank being the m1 abrams with which aus is curently upgrading to. the SAS will be the best non hero infantry on the side. stealthed while moving/shoting (sniper with driver shoting and C4) only 6 can be built. diver shoting takes 1 min to reload hero will be named bruce and is an advanced SAS with gernades (HE) and moves faster than regular SAS. trooptransport will be ASLAV APC and the hummve equivalent will be the land rover mentioned above the command varient of the ASLAV will act like a mobile propaganda tower without the healing and another ASLAV will have mecical/Mecanical capabilities. standard infantry will use Steyr AUG and(not sure if this is posible) a silenced pistol which when useing are stealhed as an upgrade. a special unit will be a truck with generator on back that produces 4 power. any more sujesions will be considered thoughly and appreciated. where is scorpy i'm sure he would like to help. by the way jimmy when are you online.

Im online most of the time. Comes with the Job at PCNC... I need to be contactable. I go by "Snoopy" on MSN.

Suggestions for the Airforce:

We should have Chinooks as the basic supply unit like the US, but in place of an attack helicopter, which Australia lacks, I think we should add the Blackhawk which infantry can fire from in the air. (Thus making it a very all-round-purpose unit)

JSFs are certainly a possibility, as I've heard we have been thinking about buying them to go with our "Pocket Carrier" program.

F-18s should definitly be included.

Army:

Artilley; the M198 Howitzer could be used there. Although adding mobility for a normally stationary gun may be difficult. (Perhaps where the Chinook comes in?)

Land Rovers; Your idea sounds good.

Rapier Anti Air System; Mobile version of the Rapier Anti air emplacement.

Abrams - Woot.

Leopard - Maybe... I think we should consider this one carefully. I mean, as I understand from janes.com, the Abrams will entirely replace the Leopards by 2007.

ASLAVs - Yes yes and yes. I agree with all your suggestions on the different variants.

Generals Powers:

1 Star General: Command ASLAV - Make the Command variant of the ASLAV available after this.

1 Star General: Elite SAS - All SAS soldiers are trained as Veterans OR...

3 Star General: 3-levels of promotion (Like the A10s) Level 1 - Veteran SAS Level 2 - Elite SAS Level 3 - Heroic SAS

3 Star General: Infantry Paratroopers Level 1 2 and 3.

5 Star General: JSF or F18 Strike - A large squadron of fighters (6-8?) do a saturation-bombing of an area. The equivalent damage being similar to a Daisy Cutter.

Im running a little thin on the Generals powers ideas. But I think the above are a good start. What do you think?

Oh hell-yeah, Australia in a mod, cool.

Hey Jimmy, why don't you also include spy drones to the generals powers. As we are buying the Global Hawk, maybe the current U.S.(predator-style) can be remodelled abit to look like Global Hawk? Or a complete new model maybe?

Keep running with this one gat, it's a winner, especially with Jimmy around.

BTW, Welcome back Jimmy. Long time no see.

Mr.Tinkles from Melbourne.

i had a brain storming secion with myself last night (coulden't sleep) and came up with a few more things. for anti infantry defence we could use a MG nest of about 3 MGs in a stinger style bunker. and for the super weapon... an artillary battery of about 40 guns with simalar effects to the level 3 artillary barrage but a wider area the black hawk could have two 50 cals. one on each side and still have the infantry fire out. and i thought about haveing an anti tank rifleman (they are still in use). but that leaves us withuot an anti air trooper. i was also thinking along the lines of rapid infantry depployment and keep't thinking of the light horsemen from world war two (after we used our tactics not the brits). but i also think that horses are a bit impractical too. maybe horses could be replaced by bikes stronger than the GLA version (in armour) and not have the infantry interchangable. and the possibility of having some NZ troops in it in the spirit of the ANZACS. (my pop was an ANZAC). still having some troble with mobile artillary but the ASLAV dose have a mortar option that the army has yet to adopt. good idear about the global hawk Tinkels i dident know we were buying it. i agree with the chinnoocks as australia dose use them. a picture of the landrover. 6x6.LRPV.army.jpg

Horses? Meh, modelling nightmare. The bikes are a fashionable idea. We do have bikes for the Army you know, they train with them on the Barracks that I live near to.

If you wanted to you could reskin the GLA bike from ZH for Aussie use. I think that is cool, would work well. Wadya think?
