Okay, I've been poking around a bit and I haven't seen this question posted specifically. I know how to add in custom music into generals, but it seems that the start/end times for the tracks are fixed. For example, CHI_01 starts at 1,897 and CHI_02 starts at 4,612,933 and CHI_03 starts at 9,060,965. Now, I have a bunch of tracks that are over 6 minutes long, and the way it is now, I can't listen to the really cool parts. Any help would be appreciated. Does nobody even know how to do this or know if it's possible?

I got the tracks in there...it's just that they get cut off because they are too long. The tracks will only last as long as the original tracks they replaced (which, in some cases, is only about a third of my song). And thanks for the replies at least now I know that I'm not being ignored. So, I take it nobody has bothered to figure out how to alter how long Generals will play certain tracks?

DUDE.... ive replaced every track in the music.big and i havent had any trouble. i have tracks on there which r like 9:00 mins long (original score for 'Platoon', yeah baby), and i can play all tracks till the finish , hell ... i even slapped together a 20 min track consisting of the first 3 tracks of 'GLADIATOR', and it plays to the end.

if u havent already this is how to change tunes which works,

get a .BIG TOOL and open Music.BIG , i use BIG POP select track go to replace track (MP3) taahh dahh .. it works .. FULL legth tracks

if it still wont play full legnth get BIG POP tool theres no reason to fool with the music.ini file I cant stress enough BUY the GLADIATOR original score... it will change your gaming expierience...really ... i got like an extra month of fun thanks general maximus.

Ein, if no one replies take it as no one knows, don't keep posting asking again if anyone knows or not.

Ah, but someone did know. It's just the blasé nature of people who even bother to read the thread that prevented me from getting an answer. Either that, or the wrong people were reading the thread (last I saw, only 47 people even bothered to read the thread). The thing is, is that if nobody replies and nobody read my thread, and my thread goes to page 2 I'm never going to get an answer. If a thread is not within the top 10 threads on a page, it's as good as gone.

By the way, I figured I'd keep posting in the same thread and not spam the boards with multiple "HELP ME" topics. Persistence sometimes does pay off (especially if you're not too obnoxious about it). And thank you Ori-Kaal for your answer. I'm off to try that out right now (I only have the BigPOP file viewer as it is...maybe that's my problem).
