Hey all, Does anyone have a clue how the Flooding logic works in Generals WorldBuilder? For example when a dam is busted... Thanks ;) The Ambershee

If anyone could pull that off :bows:

Actually, get a .big exploder and look at the single player missions that have destroyable dams. And base (don't steal) your code off of that. Persoanlly I have never looked at any of the single player maps, too much stuff. Plus, some scripts report a "game mismatch" while playing. Be careful with that... :uhm:

Didnt one of Rvmechs maps on cncden have a flood logic of some kind? There was a load of water which appeared and dissappeared every now and then.

Yeah I too would like to edit one of the maps i downloaded with a dam so that when the dam breaks , it actually floods. I contacted the head of C&C:DEN (beacause RVMech doesnt post his email), and am waiting for a reply, but if anyone else would have anything that might help, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

alright i found out how to make the map flood when a dam is busted! yeah! but htere is one proble, the water only cover the passable areas of the map. i used the script that if unit "dam" is destroyed, then area "water" height is raided to 102ft. if anyone hass any idea of why to water may only be covering the passable area hslp would be appreciated.ive gotten many other scripts to work in this level, and they work nicely. i modded a downloaded map , and have not gotten permission form the authour to distribute it, so if any one would like to see screenshots of what is happening, i will be able to get them. thankks for any help!
