I have bought C&C Generals to make my series of Command And Conquer. and in every C&C game i was able to mod everything. but now i have generals and i just dont know where to start. So if someone could be kind enough to help me out here I thank you:lookaround:

You can edit Generals the same way as most other cnc games, you only need to extract the *.big files in the main folder. Once you've done this then you can edit the files and either create new big files or just add the changes into the game without creating new big files. Sounds kinda confusing but it is really simple once you see it.

An example would be if you wanted to change some of the stats of units in the game. You would just need to use a .big editor program to open the ini.big file, then extract the files that were in the .big file to somewhere so you can edit them. Then you would just need to open up and edit the appropriate ini files. Once they are edited you can simply place them in the correct root directory for generals to see and use the changes. For the ini example it would be the c:/program files/ea games/generals/data/ini is where you would need to put the main files. Its pretty self explanatory if you have some editing experience.

hey man i thank you lots. now i was looking through the other threads and i saw someone say that they are going to make a new side in the game. How can i do that???:confused:
