How do you change the size of a map so that it is larger or smaller than what the default is?

you gotta goto file, resise map or something, its something really obvious in 'file' and then just alter the dimensions from the original. I dont want to offend anyone here, but ive seen an awful lot of completely stupid questions on this board, why cant people just take the time to just play around on the map editor  ? Thats what I did and i think im fairly good at using it now. If you dont know what a button does then leave your mouse over it and it tells you.

Maybe another stupid question, but AFAIK the BFV Editor does only supports 256 and 512 map sizes from the GUI. Does this mean to make a 512 size map and after all change the DIMs in one of the con-files? How do then result this to my map - makes a large white space around it? I cannot believe that the Editor is able to handle off-standard maps other than 256 / 512 (though haven't tested this yet). These small map sizes are the biggest constraints to me in BF

 AFAIK I thought we were in the CnC Generals forums, why are you asking about BF maps:confused: and why are you bringing back a topic that is over a year old.
