I'm Still not sure if it's gonna be build by a dozer, or by a special backpacker that i'm gonna make then. It costs 2000 dollars, i'm not good at giving prices help me with that. It's for the USA. It's going to be able to heal people that go in it, like a barrack. It will, have differents of upgrades, I'm still thinking, but I'm sure, this will come in :
- Binoculars : 800-900 dollars, increases the vision range of all units.
Maybe I'm gonna make an upgrade that rangers have poison bullets.
Maybe I'm gonna make an upgrade so that units can SHOOT further.
This is my first real project, it's cool, to think about all that stuff.
I also made a tank, a time ago, but i only could model a bit, that was all, but now since i met battata (;) ) I'm finnaly able to USE my own units.$

but, one question, how do you convert Gmax files to W3D files ?

To convert GMax in W3D or Vice-Versa you got to use a converter script like this one:
Here, i have a better screen, i also figured out by know how to export to W3D.
The Support Cab. will also be able to create a medic, and that medic will work like the speakertower of China.

The T-35 GunM, stupid name, but e ergh. LoL.
This is a double-looped tank, a bit less destructive as the overlord, and in it's back can place two ppl. place two pathfinders in it, and KABOOM, mastertank.
Price of this lil baby, 2300 bucks.
This will be the icon for the upgrade Binoculars, if i ever figure out where to place those pics in what file format ( battata ? :cya: ).

hummm....Let's see animations huh ? Biiiig subject, lot's of nasty little tricks and concepts...You also need to implement bones in your model, and in the recoding .ini's -- it's complicate -- Let me search for a nice tut on that, I'll get back to you as soon I found one.
Pictures, you mean cammeos, the format it's .tga (targa) 24 bits the place to put it is ...generals/art/textures folder. The file to reference it in to the game is sxuserinterface_512.txt located @ ...generals/data/INI/mappedimages/texturesize_512. The call from each unit is of course, at FactionUnit.ini in the very beggining of all units when it says:

SABurton is then referenced/mapped (as in HTML) in sxuserinterface_512.txt

It's possible to map two different images one for cammeo other to the inside image that appears on the righ when you select that unit. Normally we use the same image from the cammeo.
Looks DAMN good, but i have a few idears :D
If it were me, i would remove the flags from the top of the building, and replace it with more detailed texture (like overlapping corragated iron).
the tank could be spruced up a bit, maybe add two ports on top where the infantry pop out? or some minor detailing, like bolts, panels etc.
Altogether damn good work, keep it up!
I think you should make that the barracks.
