it's tricky but yes we can play the campaign as single maps, or mission in skirmish. You need one of the CnC generals .big tool to extract the maps from maps.big You need Worldbuilder for this too. After you extracted all or some of the campaign's maps into c:\my documents\command and conquer generals data\maps or c:\my documents\command and conquer generals zero hour data\maps if you are playing ZH . Open the maps extracted with worldbuilder to re-edit them; Worldeditor will ask you to replace missing players, displaying a teams' option list. At this point we don't know what the heck to replace . Just click cancel until Worldbuilder brings you to the main window where the map you have opened for editing is displayed;Go to the Players list, make note of what players are created there, then go to teams list to see each players' sub-teams which are created.Go to the scripting section to check what is missing , if you haven't done any scripting in this game , it will be a headache for you, but you must go over the scripts. Most likely in the scripting section you might spend sometimes just adding the players' teams and units' names missing by ??? in the scripted lines. I have been playing around alot with both Generals and ZH extracted campaigns' maps, it can be done. I strongly suggest if you are not familiar with CnC scripting yet , then download the PDF file "worldbuilder book" , study it, get the scripting tools i have suggested above, as you read along come and ask questions to these excellent group of experience scripters that I as well am poking their blessed brains... :) hope I just gave you enough for you to jump in and start having fun , like i'm having too .. :)
