hi there, I am in kinda rush at the moment so I hadn't any time to browse for previous posts about the Napalm Strike, so I will just ask.
where are the Weapon specs on the Napalm Strike (the "special" attack, equalent to Carpet Bombing) I didn't think it was effective enough so I wanted to edit the damage.
can any advanced INI editor point the location out to me

I take it from your post that you have already enabled the strike for China. So it is basically pretty simple from here to change the damage. The strike uses a special unit called ChinaJetMIGNapalmStriker. It calls this unit in, creates it basically, to do the strike. The unit is basically a clone of the regular migjet, it uses the same weapons and has the same basic specs. This means that it uses the NapalmMissileWeapon and BlackNapalmMissileWeapon weapons when it strikes. This means you need at least 6, I believe, missiles to strike in one area for there to be a firestorm. This just isn't happening with the standard napalm strike. My suggestion is to do one of two things. Either edit the NapalmMissileWeapon to make it so that it takes less missiles to cause a firestorm. Or just add more units to the napalmstrike formation. I actually did both, but I added a new weapon set for the regular mig jet just to keep things balanced.
If you look at the NapalmMissileWeapon section you will notice a part near the bottum that says the following...
HistoricBonusTime = 3000 HistoricBonusCount = 6 HistoricBonusRadius = 100 HistoricBonusWeapon = FirestormSmallCreationWeapon
Just change the HistoricBonusCount to decrease the number of missiles needed to create the firestorm.
And to change the number of jets in the formation you need to go to the ObjectCreationList.ini and find the SUPERWEAPON_NapalmStrike section.
DeliverPayload Transport = ChinaJetMIGNapalmStriker FormationSize = 9 FormationSpacing = 25.0
Change this part of the code to edit the formation size. As you can see mine has been changed to 9 units. Anyways, it sure is fun watching them swoop in and drop a world of flame on the enemy :naughty: Hope all this helps.
I hate the Napalmstrike.... it's so weak, just 1 Building or with Luck 2 get destroyed, how can i make it, that the MiGs will unload there Missiles right in front of them and not firing all at the same point, to create some kind of a big Firewall???

You could change the type of firestorm that it creates. Just follow the instructions in my other thread, but also change the firestorm type. Notice that right now it only creates a smallfirestorm. There are also 2 other larger firestorms that can be created. Just look through the objectcreationlist for firestorms and you will find them. Then just change the missiles into whichever one you wish it to create.
Also, I believe there is a line of code that specifies the spacing for objects that are created. Just look at the A-10 Strike code and compare it to the Napalmstrike. I will take a look at this later, not at my home computer. Once I figure out exactly how to do this I'll post it for ya.
You said in the OCL.ini are more firestorms.... but there aren't :( I only got the small Napalm Firestorm and the small BlackNapalm Firestorm.... what can i do to become the larger ones?
