I'm thinking of undertaking a WW2 timeline project. It would charter every documented event that took place during WW2, in an online site. I was wondering if anyone would be interested to undertake something like this. If I got a good response, I would probably set up a website where the 'historians' would add and edit bits of a large page which would eventually become a .pdf document and/or online archive. I suggest this out of interest, and because I thought today "wouldn't it be great to charter every event of WW2 in a film". Obviously I have neither the knowledge or funding to produce a film, but I do have webspace and the will. So if anyone would be interested in something like this I'll set it up. More details on request.

It has already been done before, multiple times. What I eventually want to do is make a map the size of the wall in a room showing all army unit advancements and retreats across the entire ETO.

In the time when he did post this topic, his avatar was very different. Besides, avatar tells only little, if anything real about person. In Any case, it doesn't matter anymore.
