FINALLY! He's gone! And he's noticed that everyone hates him.

Unfortunatley, he also went on to say that there's no new movie in development (Star Trek: The Beginnings was apparently just a rumor), but there is still hope.

Right Direction - Would you call no more Trek a good direction? If so, why are you in this forum?

Well technically speaking anyone who takes over should go back to the original series, TNG and the earlier films and take a leaf out of Roddenberrys book and see things the way he did in the beginning. I still think the franchise should be given a breather for a few years so that things can be thought about and redesigned.

They 'need' battles, else it wouldn't be much for science fiction - if there are aliens about (same as humans) fights happen - they will be needed. Though exploration would be nice, as long as it isn't too boring like 'oh, we found yet another probe with some information on it' [quote=Saquist]I'm glad the bastard is gone...shook us enough and now Trek Brain Damage. You must love those two guys :p

read the article dude...Its really good....

If star Trek is layed to rest I'll have no problem with it..

I'll just float over to Star Gate permemantly...

Star War's is certainly complete crap now just highest movie grossing crap.
