I've been wanting to rewatch DS9, but I'm too cheap to buy the DVDs, and Star Trek of any kind is not being repeated on any british channel anymore, not to my knowledge at least.

(BBC2 were rerunning TNG way back in 2008, then they just stopped part way through season 4...)

But I have movies 1-10 on DVD, with J.J. Abrams Star Trek on blu-ray, but a nerd can only rewatch them so many times before it becomes too many times...

Seasons 1-3 of DS9 are currently available to watch on Sky Anytime+ and on Virgin Demand services.

DS9 is also occasionally repeated on Sky 2 or 3 during the week but I forget the exact time.

TNG and TOS is currently being shown on CBS Action in the UK also. Sky Atlantic is also showing Star Trek Voyager and Enterprise (in HD no less) daily.

Plenty of Trek around. =p

I too would say that DS9 was my all-time favourite Trek show. I was too young when TOS initially aired (actually, I wasn't even born when it first aired). I grew up with The Next Generation. Deep Space Nine followed, and then, the GODSHIP Voyager.

I wouldn't say I hated Voyager, but from a realistic point of view, that ship would have never made it home. That and Voyager ruined the Borg; a species that the TNG-era worked so hard to make evil and terrible, Voyager practically wiped them clean off the map. I disliked that.

Deep Space Nine though; I am in full agreement with Nem. Garak was brilliant. It's a shame they went bad with Dukat, I feel he had potential to be a great good guy, but then I suppose Damar took that role in the end. I wasn't so keen on the Prophets though, and would also agree with FileTrekker where the Mirror Episode... episodes are concerned. I disliked them as much as he did. They were irrelevant and could have been put to better use.

Then comes the Dominion War. For what it's worth, I thought it was quite well done, though I'd have liked it if the Dominion was more a Gamma-Federation (as initially intended) rather than a three-species faction.

I didn't know...

I don't get the time to watch TV anymore. :(

EDIT: Although, having all Trek's on one channel instead of spread across 5 or 6 would make things alot easier...

DS9 is my favorite too and the one I've watched the most a few times through. The fact that it had one big long story Dominion arc through out the show and we got to see the Romulans more and the other Alpha Quadrant species.
