IT'S DEAD! GET OVER IT! I'm getting sick of people wishing they would resurrect an old series even though they know it isn't going to happen. Then we have the people who follow Enterprise along its journey of Trek destruction. It's no friggin' wonder it's slowly dying in front of our faces. Some people want to stay in the past, some people want to rewrite the past, and the rest of us are wondering why nobody's bothered with the future...
It would be better to focus on a new Star Trek, however unlikely that would be. I would much rather learn the lives of another small community of people.
It would be interesting to perhaps have a series based on short stories. Each episode could follow the lives of various ships, colonies, starbases, etc. It wouldn't even have to be limited to the Starfleet. Haven't you always wanted to see the grooming habits on a ship of Klingons?
I can't see a storyline for a DS9 film.
DS9 wasn't all that good, at least untill the Dominion War. That was the only reason why I watched that show, before the war it sucked, but the War made people watch it.
it was good before the last two seasons too
I liked all the seasons, the reason you can't have a movie is because everything has gone back to normality with just some rebuilding to do. If you were to make a movie it would have to be set in the future when they next conflict may arise, say thirty years, but Sisko may be dead.

no use pretending, mr. matt :vikki:
I take it you mean that it would not be pretty and that's why you don't want to watch, not because it is disinteresting. Because if the reason is the later, well, you are a plain liar and I will have to extract the correct information from you with a Vulcan mind meld. Actually, simple assimilation would be MUCH more efficient....:borg:
