I take what n0e says way too seriously

:uhh: Well I think Enterprise era music was best out of all of them....

Voyager one, though I like the series itself veeeery much.
I didn't make it!
Oblivious;4351455Is it just me, or does Enterprise have the worst theme song of any Star Trek show ever? It's unlike any theme for any other ST show. For lack of a more P.C. term, it's gay! Seriously, who's brilliant idea was it to use that song?
Finally someone who shares my opinion. Song in Star Trek? Oh come on! When I first heard that song from "Enterprise" I was like wtf? Song itself is great , but useing it in Star Trek is blasphemy. All Star Trek shows have instrumental themes and that`s how it should`ve been in "Enterprise" too. Oh , my favorite is TNG theme.
Piercing the veil.

The first version of the song used in season 1 was good, the one they used in seasons 3 and 4 was horrible.

I don't dislike any of them to be honest. The enterprise theme is a break from tradition but in and on itself it doesn't suck, and even if i disliked it I'd remind myself that it's just my opinion.
I'm too cool to Post

I dont dislike any of them though the OP for Next Generation is my least favorite. I actually liked the OP from Enterprise.
Look here I've got a birdie.

I must admit the other songs are better than the Enterprise one. I think that the song used does suit Enterprise. I like the music used actually in the shows for Enterprise. For the intro's though, it is a cross between DS9 and Voyager for my favourite.
Modding and equality for all.

My favorite is the TNG/TMP theme. This is THE Star Trek theme. I like, however, that it is exclusive to shows featuring the Enterprise. Jerry Goldsmith created a soundtrack in 1978 that I (and many others) consider to be among the top 5 of all time. I really think Goldsmith was on a level with John Williams or Lalo Shifrin. He just didn't work on as many high-profile films. Now for "Faith of the Heart": I thought it was a nice song that definitely reflected the history and ideals of Star Trek. However, as a theme music, no. I'm pretty sure I read that they went with this song, as Jerry Goldsmith died before he could score the show. They were in negotiations with him, as he has sworn never to touch Star Trek again after Nemesis, as the studio futzed with his score so much. I think they intended for "Faith of the Heart" to be in the first episode, but for it to have a traditional theme. They just threw it in because it was an 11th hour decision. The problem is, it's a pop/easy listening song, and people who have never seen anything Star Trek could still give you a close guess as to which year it was performed. Contemporary music is often that way, whereas orchestral themes are pretty much timeless. It's more suited for nostlgic tribute videos (and several good ones have been made with it). And Lord Wiener, I agree with you on the issue of Seasons 3/4. It was starting to sound like some of the love music from Baywatch there towards the end.
What does the Fox say?

I actually have a copy of the Enterprise intro on my computer. Its from the first episode, and I think it is pretty darn cool.
Its not "Star Trek", but it makes a great trailer,...
I remember reading somewhere that the version of "Faith of the Heart" that was used in the first season, was an unauthorized remix. Hence the version used in the later episodes.
The TOS theme is classic, but I love the Voyager theme. I've got it on my MP3 player.

I think that Enterprise's Theme song was the Worst, I mean, one of the things that set Star Treak apart, for me, was the opening song, it was always done by an Orchestra, but Enterprise ruined that for me....
