Enterprise A for me. I also like the Excelsior class, but that's not on here so I voted for that. I prefer the Enterprise A because it is one of the original ones. The technology isn't much now, but I still like it. Plus it can be flied 'By a monkey!' - Scotty.
P.S. Enterprise E is good as well, it's been through a lot...

I remember this thread...
UngarnSince the list didn't have my favorite ship, I picked the intrepid. My favorite ship is the Nova Class. It is losely based on the Defiant, the only trace of it is the "Battle Bridge". The Nova is mainly a short mission research ship.
The Nova was the original 'pathfinder' design for the Defiant-class. However, the project was abandoned, I think because the Borg threat died down. They needed a replacement for the Oberth, however, and they had a fairly small, decent design lying around doing nothing. So they ripped out most of the weapons and advanced shields and put advanced sensors and scientific equipment in there instead, and it became the Nova. Later, the Defiant got a whole new design, the one we know and love (or hate) today.
46 and 2, are just ahead of me

i voted for the Intrepid-Class but my favorite ship is the akira-class.
The Akira would own all of the above in no more then two passes.
I think that it would (except the Defiant), as the Akira has FIFTEEN photon torpedo tubes and a crap load of phasers!!! Second best next to the Defiant, and that's only because the Defiant is more maneuverable.

Where do you people get your specs from:lol: ? Anyway, I know the Sovereign is newer and has Quantums, but I have to say that for me it's the Galaxy class hands down. Probably the most versatile ship the federation ever built.
