Would be interesting knowing what FPS other gamers are getting, and I mean FPS on intensive battles, with airstrikes and stuff.

My system: Amd athlon 1200 512 mb ram Gforce4 ti4600 21 " screen ADSL connection ------

When running the game on 1200x1024, low charachter details, brass off, wallmark off - i go below 30 FPS during intensive battles. I really feel that my system should produce higher FPS!

Any thoughts here??:uhm:

What map? A lot of it can depend on the map & what part of the map you are on. For instance I can get 30-40 on 1 map & then on another somewhere around 50-90.

it also depends on your resolution.....ive you lower your res your ffps will go up.....800x600 gives a very good ffps and then you can also choose high details....

This is on beach.

Lowering the res helps, but the point is that Ive heard people running 1600x1200 res. and still have high FPS - with systems not exceeding mine. So I must be doing something wrong.. :uhm:

Btw: Does altering the r_intensity and r_mapoverbrightbits etc affect FPS?

Your FPS should be better than that. I have a 4600 too, running an AMD 1900+ and every detail is maxxed out. I see the lowest about 50 outside and inside it is at full 90 fps (the maxfps setting I have) It will go much higher if I turn this up.

In your BIOS, make sure you have 4x APG on, and set your Aperature size to 32 megs. It runs best for me at this setting and I have 512mb of DDR ram.

My benchmarks in 3dmarks2001 se is about 10000 and running stock, no overclocking of anything.

Thanx. I have limited comp knowledge and really do not want to mess with the BIOS...:uhm:

But I checked and 4x APG was enabled, but my Aperature size is at 64 megs. Should I change it?

Alos, Ive heard of a bug on win 98 when running 512 m ram. Do you know anything bout this?
