I registered with Game Spy and paid the fee (they charged it to my credit card). However, their system does not let me log into any registered user functions and tells me I am NOT registered.

I have written them numerous emails but I always get a stupid reply that gives me a complaint number but never a concrete reply.

So they have my money and don't give me the service!

What to do? Has anybody experienced this problem?

Top left of the screen, click GameSpy, click Options, click the tab Registered Features, click Verify my Registration Status, this will tell you if GameSpy has been registered or not, that's all I can suggest. Chalky

I have done that and it tells me: "you are NOT registered!" just like that. This despite me having an email from them giving me the receipt number for paying the fee. They still have not replied to four different complaint emails I have been sending in the last few days.

The latest is that when I try to log in it tells me that it cannot access my profile because the edition of game spy I installed is not correct and to uninstall and reinstall.

So I have done that 5 times too, uninstalled and reinstalled, four times from their site and once off a games disk but I keep on getting the same message, even though the game spy edition I installed has absolutely all of the other features completely correct.

I think it is just a rip off. They want the money for a subscription but they also want to keep selling their stupid ads so they want to force us to watch the ads. Since they see from my address that it is Australia they feel pretty safe that I cannot take legal action against them (I guess with US they have to be more careful)
