What has happened to the RTCW that I loved? The good old skill and teamwork game. Now it's all mods mods mods mods. :furious:
I'm more content in demo now than the real game because there is none of that BS there, just a good old fight and teamplay. Now we have uber ammo, jetpacks, mines, etc...
What happened to the game I loved? has everyone started smoking crack?
What happened to FND server, or Budsmokers server playing the Axis complex.
Enough super futuristic mods, this is supposed to be a WW2 game, not Quake or duke nukem! :furious: I guess most are stuck in fantasy:uhm: I liked RTCW because to me it was a WW2 infantry simulation. Now it's bonkers! :uhoh:
Cant agree with u more! Thats why I only play ET...
Its not fun joining a RTCW servers and find out u dont know jack sh1t about the mod u just dl just to be able to join the server  (Not many RTCW servers out now days... :( )
No more RTCW for me, at least not for some time...
Hi Stockis, I agree totally. I do get pissed about the noobs and some point hogs on ET but I am finding lack of team player ethics on RTCW servers. Some of it is due to the fact that some think they are the team and the rest are there to support them! How much more lame is that? You always find some lamer who thinks he owns everything and if you don't play the way he likes he either bitches about you or at you or tries to get you kicked off the server. Too much elitest BS these days. At least in ET you have to play as a team for the most part or your team loses. To the elitest thinkin peeps!!:moon:
i i drink to that admiral:mad: m8 it has died a horrid death rtcw......super fast team play in ww2 gear..medics with blood on 1 hand sweat on the other ....r.i.p to the greatest team player game...ET noobies:mad:  4 me it maxlives all ze way:rock:
ps admiral it always felt like a brother hood ...the boys doin it :furious: the maps are the best ive ever played in..not cartons full of noobies:confused: .....i feel lost as great servers down under lie resting empty....maps like projeck swalbe ...axis cmplex....mp_the river.....freeland....finalstand....tundra te....flooded town..tram seige..market garden  many more i cant remember..i hope we dont lose rtcw servers forever:mad:
i do think mines were in WW2 but what about PROXIMITY MINES?!?!?
never heard of that in WW2 :uhoh:
were not talkin mines or flags ffs ..were talkin about the loss of great team work that rtcw gave ......in australia servers are going cartoon to et? ..how long will et stay ....is what id like to know can it keep you interested as long as rtcw did long after other games had been an gone:rock:
Well, I like RTCW much better than ET, but the wierd mods that are in RTCW now are annoying. To me ET is just another shooter, but RTCW is, like I said, a WW2 infantry simulator. I've never been big into shooters until RTCW. :smokin:
Let's hope RTCW lives on! It's great the way it is. No mods are neccessary. :smack:
P.S. Also WolfTactiks is just wrong! :uhoh:
yere admiral, i know when i first seen the high resolution maps for wolf tactics...i thought this looks preety sharp...but to this day ive never seen 1 person even take a gander in a wolftac server>? what is its problem..? does it suck summin horrid;)
Ah.. good ol' BuDsMoKaz.... that was a great server. The 420 boys must have had a police raid and their computers confiscated! I spent many hours on that server.
RTCW has definitely evolved to something more complex. The simplicity of the pure (non-mod) game IS what made it great.
I have been mostly playing on the famous Baba Booey beach server, which runs the SHRUB mod. I could do without the mines, poison kills, and Goomba kills (kill people if you land on their head), but, I appreciate being able to pick up dropped weapons (real-life possibility). Since I mostly play on Baba, there are a lot of regulars on there, so there IS still a lot of teamwork and comradry still (and rivalry, etc) Shrub is a good mod in my opinion. No flying around or making doppleganger decoys, and NO gold flying out of your butt. It's still real, and as far as I am concerned, makes RTCW better without making it too complicated. JMHO
